Job summary

Employnet Workforce Management in Tullahoma, TN is seeking candidates for an onsite assembly role. You will assemble cables and subassemblies according to prints and work instructions, working under direct supervision on an automated or manual line.

Applicants should have solder experience, blueprint reading skills, and experience with assembly. A high school diploma or GED is required; you must be able to lift 25 pounds, stand for extended periods, and operate common hand tools.

Responsibilities

  • Assembles parts together as shown on the prints with limited supervision.
  • Works at different workstations as production needs require.
  • Works on line where tasks vary as different model of same article moves along line.
  • Utilizes basic Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) practices where applicable.
  • Uses/sets up machines, such as arbor presses, stripping machines, crimping machines, torques wrenches/drivers, to perform fastening operations on assembly line.
  • Utilize SAP - ME effectively and has a basic understanding of the Non-conformance (NC) process in ME.

Job Summary

Performs task necessary to assemble cables, subassemblies and/or final assemblies in accordance with drawings, work instructions, work cell designs and shop floor travelers. This position works under direct supervision.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assembles parts together as shown on the prints with limited supervision.
  • Works at different workstations as production needs require.
  • Works on line where tasks vary as different model of same article moves along line.
  • Utilizes basic Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) practices where applicable.
  • Uses/sets up machines, such as arbor presses, stripping machines, crimping machines, torques wrenches/drivers, to perform force fitting or fastening operations on assembly line.
  • Utilize SAP - ME effectively and routinely and has a basic understanding of the Non-conformance (NC) process in ME.
Minimum Job Requirements

High school degree or General Equivalency Diploma (GED). Requires a basic understanding of blue print reading. Able to place parts together as shown on the prints. Must be able to frequently lift 25 pounds. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Ability to dexterously manipulate a variety of sizes of parts repeatedly. Ability to operate industry standard hand tools. Must be able to follow instructions both written and verbal.
