Cornerstone Building Brands, Inc. is seeking an Assembler 1 to put together component parts according to blueprints or schematics, verify quantities, and perform quality checks to ensure products are structurally sound.

This full-time role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly, work in a fast-paced environment, maintain 5S standards, and assist in training new associates while collaborating with teammates.

Qualifications

• Experience with staple guns and drills is preferred.
• Must be able to bend and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components according to blueprints or schematics.
• Verify quantities and perform quality checks on completed items.
• Manage parts inventory and use hand/power tools to produce products.
• Maintain 5S standards and housekeeping.

Job Description

The Assembler 1 is responsible for putting together component parts or pieces adhering to a specified set of blueprints or schematics. They verify the correct quantities of components parts and quality checking completed items, manage parts inventory, and use hand tools and mechanical equipment to produce structurally sound products and structures.

• Ability to perform repetitive work while paying attention to detail
• Identify and segregate Non‑Conforming Product
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co‑workers
• Ability to train other/new associates
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
• Maintain departmental housekeeping and 5S standards
• Assemble and fabricate product using company‑supplied hand and power tools
