Assembler 1 – Pioneer the next generation of innovation

Position Summary: This position assembles generator sets and sub‑assemblies that include both standard and non‑standard product lines. The role requires using hand and power tools and following quality and procedural techniques.

Key Accountabilities

• Use work instructions, drawings, schematics, and equipment to perform basic assembly duties in limited work areas (e.g., Final Assembly and Sub‑Assembly).
• Cross‑train in multiple assembly areas and assist in other areas as needed.
• Develop and maintain an understanding of the products assembled and continuously learn the principles, practices, and processes of the job as changes occur.
• Identify defective or damaged parts, incorrect sizes, faulty workmanship, and general quality issues.
• Follow safety and environmental procedures and established processes and policies.
• Provide input on continuous improvement opportunities within the department.
• Promote a compliance culture in the area of responsibility and embody the Rolls‑Royce Code of Conduct.
• Perform special projects as required.
