Job summary

Miller Industries in Ooltewah, TN is seeking an Assembler to join our production team. You will put together products and parts in a manufacturing setting, follow assembly instructions, operate tools, and perform quality checks to ensure standards are met.

This role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and adherence to safety protocols. You'll contribute to efficient workflow, participate in training opportunities, and support company growth and product excellence.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
  • 1–2 years’ related experience; manufacturing or Assembly preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Able to read and interpret assembly instructions and blueprints.
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
  • Fast-paced environment and repetitive task capability.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble products according to blueprints or instructions.
  • Use hand and power tools to fasten, fit, and connect components.
  • Inspect parts for accuracy and quality throughout assembly.
  • Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe workplace.
  • Monitor the assembly line and report issues to supervisors.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and perform routine equipment maintenance.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
  • Assist in other areas of production as needed.

Summary

As the Assembler, you will be a pivotal member of our team, reporting to the Production Supervisor. This role is responsible for putting together products and parts in a manufacturing setting, you will follow assembly instructions, operate tools and perform quality checks to ensure products meet standards. Duties And Responsibilities

The essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

  • Assemble products according to blueprints, diagrams, or verbal instructions provided.
  • Utilize hand and power tools to fasten, fit, and connect components.
  • Inspect parts and components for accuracy and quality throughout the assembly process.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Monitor the assembly line for potential issues and report them to supervisors.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Operate and perform routine maintenance on assembly line equipment.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet production goals.
  • Assist in other areas of production as needed.
Qualifications

  • Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions and technical documents, such as blueprints.
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform repetitive tasks.
