Job summary

Kelly is hiring an Assembler in Tallmadge, Ohio, for a leading designer and manufacturer of custom automated machinery and material handling systems. This role blends hands-on assembly with light shipping and receiving responsibilities.

You will assemble parts, read blueprints, operate hand and power tools, verify shipments, prepare products for shipment, and maintain inventory records. Forklift experience is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, shipping/receiving, manufacturing, or assembly preferred.
• Forklift experience required or expected.
• Good physical stamina and ability to perform hands-on work.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. independently.
• Basic computer skills for inventory/shipping systems.
• Knowledge of shipping/inventory software is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints or schematics is a plus.
• Clean driving record required.

Kelly is hiring an Assembler on behalf of a leading designer and manufacturer of custom automated machinery and material handling systems.

$18.00 – $20.00 Per Hour Based On Experience.

Monday – Friday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm

This position combines hands-on assembly with some shipping and receiving responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble small parts, components, and subassemblies into finished products

• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively

• Read and follow technical instructions, blueprints, schematics, and assembly documentation

• Verify shipments for accuracy and inspect incoming deliveries for damage or discrepancies

• Prepare products and materials for shipment

• Maintain accurate inventory and shipping records using computer systems

• Operate a forklift to move product

Qualifications:

• Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, manufacturing, or assembly experience is preferred

• Experience driving a forklift

• Good physical stamina and ability to perform hands-on work

• Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs. independently

• Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory/shipping systems

• Knowledge of shipping or inventory software is a plus

• Ability to read blueprints or schematics is a plus

• Clean driving record required
