Graphic Packaging International is seeking a Folder/Gluer Operator to oversee the setup and operation of folding and gluing equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure safe, efficient production.
You will train operators, maintain records, and support quality control while following SQF guidelines and safety rules. Prior experience is helpful; basic math and mechanical skills are essential.

The Folder/Gluer Operator is responsible for overseeing the set-up and operations of the Folder/Gluer. This includes general and preventative maintenance on machines, make-ready, running, wash-up, safety, quality assurance, production, housekeeping, coordination of work and training of operators, feeders, and packers.
Operate and maintain the machinery in a proper and efficient manner to achieve acceptable quality. Set-up and adjust all machinery. Perform general and preventative maintenance on all machines. Train operators and feeders and packers in the operation and maintenance of machinery. Assist maintenance mechanic in repairs of the equipment. Coordinate and assist in carrying out instructions of daily schedules to complete all work in a timely manner. Maintain accurate records of material used or spoiled. Assist operators in maintaining this data. Participate in any tasks necessary to allow for continuous operation of the process. Follow all Plant Safety rules and maintain a safe working environment. Monitor the level of quality in the products being produced.
Collect Statistical Process Control (SPC) Data as required. Participate in Continuous Process Improvement Activities as required. Follow all guidelines related to SQF Guidelines.
Basic math, reading and writing skills are required to perform this job. Mechanical aptitude is required.
