Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Production Assembly Technician to join a professional production team responsible for manufacturing custom industrial door systems.

This is a physically demanding, hands‑on position that requires the ability to learn multiple products and manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate is comfortable using hand and power tools, working on their knees for extended periods, lifting materials, and working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Assemble components used in the manufacturing of custom industrial door systems.
  • Safely operate various hand and power tools, including drills, saws, and impact wrenches.
  • Accurately use standard and metric measuring tapes and rulers.
  • Follow established assembly instructions and standard work processes.
  • Work on your knees for extended periods while completing assembly tasks.
  • Perform physically demanding production duties throughout the shift.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
  • Clean and properly store tools and equipment at the end of each shift.
  • Work effectively as part of a production team.
  • Learn multiple products, assembly procedures, and manufacturing processes.
  • Use basic computerized systems, including Microsoft Office and email.
  • Follow all established company safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Properly wear and use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Participate in required safety training, meetings, audits, and safety programs.
  • Perform additional production and assembly duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, maintenance, or construction is preferred.
  • Previous experience using hand and power tools is a plus.
  • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn new processes quickly.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Dependable attendance and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Physical & Work Requirements

Candidates must be able to:

  • Work in a manufacturing/production‑floor environment.
  • Stand or remain on their feet for approximately 90% of the workday.
  • Work on their knees for extended periods of time.
  • Regularly bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and lift.
  • Regularly lift and handle materials weighing up to 60 lbs.
  • Work four days per week at 10 hours per day.
  • Work mandatory overtime when requested by management.
  • Safely perform repetitive and physically demanding production tasks throughout the shift.
