Qualifications

  • More than 2 years of experience in manufacturing or assembly production environment.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced, and potentially stressful environment.
  • Prolonged periods of standing and the ability to lift 50+ pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Build/Assemble Swing Door System Components to meet customer demand.
  • Debur parts to specifications.
  • Prepare packaging and boxing parts for shipping.
  • Keep the work area clean and organized.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels with physical counts.
  • Adjust inventory as needed with assembly BOMs.
  • Use cold saw to cut aluminum extrusion.
  • Inspect material for damage and proper thickness.
  • Arrange sawing sequences for optimum material usage.
  • Arrange cut metal on skids for packaging.
  • Determine and install proper blade size based on material type.
  • Check and replenish fluid for lubrication system.
  • Check and remove chips from the collection system if necessary.
  • Recognize operating irregularities and machine malfunctions.

Job Summary

Job Summary: Produce and prepare parts, build assemblies/kits, and stock shelves using hand tools and other manufacturing equipment (small presses, deburring sanders, drills, saws, routers and other part fixtures). Using a variety of hand & power tools, fixtures, work instructions and test equipment, perform a series of operations to correctly produce and assemble parts.
