CentroMotion in Westfield, Wisconsin, is seeking an assembler to construct hydraulic systems and sub-assemblies. You will operate air tools, read blueprints, and follow process diagrams while maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Joining a team that values continuous improvement, you will train others, assist with preventive maintenance, and work 10-hour days, with overtime potential on Fridays. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.

Your Role:

In this position you will be assembling hydraulic systems, components, associated sub-assemblies along with material handling. Duties may include operating air tools, wrenches, sockets, and holding fixtures.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Assembling products.
• Operating air tools, wrenches, sockets, power assembly and holding fixtures
• Reading blueprints, work instructions and process flow diagrams
• Interpreting information - SPC charts
• Working in a team environment utilizing continuous improvement tools

What You Need to Succeed:

• Able to maintain a clean work area to ensure a high standard of safety and appearance
• Train others about job duties
• Assist with preventive maintenance as needed
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to exchange information with co-workers, and work as part of a team
• Basic reading, writing, math
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, bills of material, ship orders, parts numbers, parts lists, and defect charts
• Must be able to understand quality standards and gauging
• Ability to comprehend safety instructions
• Ability to visually match parts and discern colors for assembly of product with color coded part numbers
• Ability to lift 1-30 pounds intermittently and occasional moving of 50-70 pounds at table height

• Experience in a factory setting, including reading routers, bill of materials, work instructions
• Some mechanical aptitude
• Flexibility - willing to learn

Compensation:

$16.50/hr
