Job summary

Lakeside Manufacturing in Wisconsin is hiring a 1st Shift Assembler to weld and assemble stainless steel carts and related products. You will work 5:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Thursday, with overtime available on Fridays.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma/GED equivalent, plus 1-2 years related experience.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand up to 10 hours.

Responsibilities

• Assemble basic parts using nuts, bolts, screws, riveting, or spot welding.
• Read parts lists, blueprints, and drawings to assemble products.
• Enter work orders and print labels on the computer.
• Inspect parts and products for quality according to standards.
• Complete paperwork and maintain records; follow safety rules.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in the department.

Lakeside is currently seeking a skilled 1st Shift Assembler to join our dedicated team. This is a key role responsible for precision welding and assembly of stainless steel products that meet our high-quality standards and customer specifications.

Position Highlights

• Schedule: 4-day workweek - Monday through Thursday, 10-hour shifts
• Shift: 1st Shift 5:00 am - 3:30 pm
• Overtime: As needed, additional hours are available on Fridays
• Work Environment: Culture forward, team-oriented, safety-first, free coffee, nice lunchroom

Primary Responsibilities

• Assemble basic parts to one another by tightening nuts, bolts, screws, by riveting or spot welding parts together
• Read parts lists, blueprints, and drawings to assemble products
• Operate the computer to enter work orders and print labels
• Inspect parts and products for quality standards
• Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documents, etc
• Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations
• Maintain departmental housekeeping standards

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma/GED equivalent, plus 1-2 years related experience
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
