Aerotek is seeking an assembler for a climate-controlled, onsite role in Maryland Heights, MO, assembling medical equipment like mobility lifts. Tasks are performed seated at a sub-assembly station using diagrams on an iPad, with parts retrieved from designated areas.

Ideal candidates have about 1 year of assembly experience and at least 6 months with hand tools, plus the ability to read diagrams and perform lifting. Overtime may be required to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• About 1 year of assembly experience in manufacturing or production.
• At least 6 months of regular hand-tool experience in an assembly setting.

• Experience with basic assembly tasks using hand tools and performing repetitive operations.
• Ability to perform lifting and physical tasks during production.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to procedures and quality standards.
• Reliable attendance with a Monday-Thursday 6:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. shift and Friday 6:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m., with possible mandatory overtime to 4:30 p.m.

Assembler

This role focuses on assembling medical equipment, such as lifts that support individuals with mobility needs. You will work at a dedicated sub-assembly station, performing assembly tasks while seated. Using work diagrams and instructions provided on an iPad, you will retrieve organized parts and assemble them according to specifications. Candidates with experience in electrical circuit boards or panels will adapt quickly to these openings. A positive attitude and strong work ethic are highly valued in this position.

Essential Skills

• Approximately 1 year of assembly experience preferred in a manufacturing or production environment.

• At least 6 months of regular experience using hand tools in an assembly or related setting.

• Ability to read and follow diagrams, instructions, and workflows provided on digital devices such as an iPad.

• Experience with basic assembly tasks, including using hand tools and performing repetitive operations.

• Capability to perform lifting and physical tasks associated with assembling parts and equipment.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to following established procedures and quality standards.

• Reliable attendance and ability to work Monday through Thursday from 6:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with readiness for mandatory overtime until 4:30 p.m. as required.

• Positive attitude and consistent effort, with willingness to learn and adapt to the assembly process.

Work Environment

The workspace is organized, and you are responsible for keeping your area clean and ensuring messes are cleaned up before the end of each day. The standard shift is Monday through Thursday from 6:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with anticipated mandatory overtime extending the day until 4:30 p.m. Dress code requires jeans or khakis without holes and prohibits graphic t-shirts, supporting a professional and neat appearance on the production floor.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
