Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is partnering with a client to hire Assemblers in Marengo, IL. The role involves building forklifts on a moving assembly line in a clean metal manufacturing environment.

Starting pay is $17.50 per hour with overtime on a 50+ hour schedule. Candidates will perform quality checks, read blueprints, and follow process sheets to meet production standards.

Qualifications

• Use hand and power tools and move materials as required

Summary

Our client is seeking Assemblers to help assemble and build forklifts that are distributed worldwide. This role works on a moving assembly line in a very clean, fast-paced metal manufacturing environment. Candidates will assemble different forklift components based on placement and perform quality checks to ensure production standards are met. This position offers a pay increase once 720 hours are completed.

Responsibilities

• Assemble forklifts and sub-assemblies including mechanical, basic electrical, and hydraulic components

• Read and follow blueprints, drawings, and simple schematics
• Perform quality checks on assigned components and completed assemblies
