We have an immediate opportunity for an Assembler to join our diverse team in Louisville, KY. The Assembly Technician will be responsible for the assembly process in an assembly cell, from setup to testing. They will utilize a work order and build a unit based on the design plan provided. Basic knowledge of hand tools such as impact drills and the ability to read a tape measure are required.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Reporting directly to the Team Leader and/or Production Manager
• Performing all unit assembly activities
• Ensuring manufacturing conformance to design specifications
• Maintaining test and assembly tools and equipment
• Operating a forklift and overhead crane
• Assisting other production areas as required by the assembly supervisor
• Maintaining a tidy work area
• Practicing safety in the workplace

The ideal candidate possesses these skills:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Mechanical aptitude
• Understanding test processes and requirements
• Ability to operate hydro-test equipment
• Basic understanding of metric conversion calculations
