Job summary

SLB in Texas is seeking an Assembler to join our manufacturing team, building and testing products across multiple product lines on site.

You will read blueprints, select tools, troubleshoot problems, and document labor records, while upholding safety and quality standards; opportunities to learn new technologies and sustainable practices.

This role focuses on hands-on assembly, testing, and continuous improvement within a diverse manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

  • Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in assembly/manufacturing preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical/mechanical/electronic assembly.
  • Commitment to quality, attention to detail, and safety.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Job description

The Assembler is responsible for assembling and testing products, and for troubleshooting and resolving issues.

  • Assemble components of all Product Lines. Select correct tools and fixtures.
  • Test assembled products. Troubleshoot and resolve problems associated with the assembly and testing of products.
  • Ensure ability to: read blueprints; identify components; use pertinent hand tools and rework techniques; operate equipment, dimensioning and setting tolerances of mechanical parts and assemblies.
  • Create labor records for all transactions.
  • Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (technical diploma a plus)
