Job summary

PSG California LLC in Grand Terrace, CA, is seeking a production assembler to build pump assemblies. You will follow standard work, use hand and air tools, perform TPM and hydro-tests, and maintain safety and quality. The role requires flexibility for overtime and adherence to lean practices.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent preferred.
• No product assembly experience required; ability to learn.
• Experience using air and hand tools.
• Mechanically inclined; production or assembly experience a plus.
• Packaging and palletizing in production experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform router steps to complete a pump build, including kitting, sub-assembly, and boxing.
• Follow standard work to conform to product design specs and QA procedures.
• Perform TPM on department tools and equipment.
• Perform Hydro-test on required work orders and capture certificates.
• Ensure duties meet policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
• Capture production log and report to Supervisor daily.
• Maintain inventory accuracies in Oracle via work orders and move orders.
• Complete priorities set by lead and supervisor for the day.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.
• Perform all duties as assigned by department lead; support production.
• Commit to OH&S, continuous improvement, and lean manufacturing.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment; work overtime as required.
• All other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

• High school or equivalent preferred
• No product assembly experience required; ability to learn
• Experience using air and hand tools
• Mechanically inclined Assembly or production experience a plus
• Packaging and Palletizing in Production experience a plus

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform all router steps on the work order required to complete a pump build which includes but is not limited to kitting, sub-assembly, and boxing of pump
• Follow standard work in the production cell to conform to product design specifications and comply with all quality assurance procedures
• Perform TPM (total preventative maintenance) on department tools and equipment
• Perform Hydro-test on required work order and capture certificate
• Ensures duties performed meet company policies, procedures, and safety requirements
• Capture production log and report to Supervisor and Lead daily
• Maintain inventory accuracies by transacting work order and move orders properly and completely in Oracle
• Responsible for completing priorities set forth by the lead and supervisor for the day
• Must comply with the Company’s policies and procedures
• Performs all duties as assigned by the department lead to support production
• Must demonstrate commitment to safety & continual improvement of OH&S (Occupational Health and Safety) performance, registered standards, company policy, integrity, ethics, and legal compliance
• Practice lean manufacturing and continuous improvement in the daily work
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with company procedures and rules
• Work overtime as required
• All other duties assigned

Pay

Pay Range: USD 20.00 - 20.00 Hourly. This position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.
