Job summary

Sandvik in Alachua, FL is seeking an Assembler for a full-time, on-site position. You will assemble large components using hand and power tools, follow blueprints and work instructions to ensure quality, and perform hydraulic connections for proper fit and fastening.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Overtime may be required. Benefits cover health, dental, disability, and 401(k).

Now Hiring: Assembler

Location: Alachua, FL | Full-Time | On-Site | Hourly Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:30 am - 3:00 pm

What You’ll Do:

• Assembly large and heavy components using hand and power tools.
• Follow blueprints, work instructions, and checklists to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Perform hydraulic connections and ensure proper fit and fastening of parts.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Engineering, and Planning.

What you Bring:

• Authorized to work in the U.S. on an indefinite basis without sponsorship.
• Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with basic hand tools.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Positive attitude, strong attendance, and willingness and ability to work overtime.

Preferred Skills:

• 1+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and BOMs.

Physical & Safety Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, and climb throughout the workday.
• Frequently lift and move items over 50 lbs.
• Must wear required PPE and successfully complete fit-for-work assessments (audiogram, lift test, physical exam).
• Comfortable working in a loud, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
