Sandvik in Alachua, FL is seeking a Welder for our Production Team to assemble drilling rigs. The role involves following blueprints, using hand and power tools, and working with BOMs to ensure quality. On-site, full-time schedule with a 6:30 am–3:00 pm shift, and overtime as needed.

Starting pay ranges from $20 to $26 per hour, with a bonus opportunity. Requires at least 1 year in manufacturing, a high school diploma or GED, and welding certification.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Welding certification preferred.
• Familiarity with hand tools and welding equipment.
• Willingness to work overtime or shifts as needed.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. on an indefinite basis without sponsorship.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:30 am - 3:00 pm

Physical & Safety Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, and climb throughout the workday

• Frequently lift and move items over 50 lbs

• Must wear required PPE and successfully complete fit-for-work assessments (audiogram, lift test, physical exam)

• Comfortable working in a loud, fast-paced manufacturing environment
