Job summary

Stenograph is seeking an Assembly professional to join our Downers Grove, IL manufacturing team. This on-site role supports assembling components into finished products, with focus on quality and safety.

The ideal candidate has 3–7 years in assembly or manufacturing, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or in a team. The position runs Monday–Friday, 5:30 a.m.–2:00 p.m., with competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–7 years of assembly, manufacturing, or related experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Onsite work Monday–Friday from 5:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in Downers Grove, IL.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly duties as directed by the Assembly Supervisor.
• Follow established procedures to assemble components into complete products and subassemblies.
• Mechanical subassemblies
• Electrical subassemblies
• Final writer assemblies
• Finished product cleaning and packaging
• Aftermarket products and accessories
• Inspect materials and assemblies for quality and report defects or unusual conditions to the supervisor.
• Adhere to all quality standards and manufacturing procedures.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Follow all company safety policies and practices.
• Support additional production and operational activities as assigned.

The Position

Stenograph is seeking an Assembler to join our manufacturing team in Downers Grove, Illinois. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, detail-oriented individual looking to build a long-term career with a stable and well-established organization.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting directly to the Assembly Supervisor and plays an important part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.
