Job summary

Randstad USA in New York is urgently hiring assemblers for short-term contracts in Old Bethpage. You will perform high-volume, repetitive assembly tasks and contribute to meeting daily production goals in a fast-paced environment.

Shifts run 06:00 AM–03:30 PM. Duties include machine tending, material flow, and strict adherence to SOPs, with quick onboarding and dependable pay plus benefits.

Responsibilities

• High-volume assembly: execute repetitive, high-speed assembly line tasks to meet demanding daily production quotas and throughput goals.
• Machine tending: operate and tend to semi-automatic assembly machinery, loading components and monitoring cycle progress.
• Material flow: ensure the workstation is constantly stocked with necessary components and stage finished product for the next process step (e.g., packaging).
• Process adherence: strictly follow all standard operating procedures (sops) and assembly steps to maintain uniform product quality across large volumes.
• Defect reporting: quickly identify and report any recurring component defects or machine faults that could slow down the assembly line.
