Job summary

RXinsider LTD. in Colorado Springs is seeking an assembler to fabricate and assemble medical grade storage cabinets and related products to customer specifications. The role also inspects finished parts for quality, maintains equipment and work areas, and adheres to production and safety standards.

You will perform repetitive bench and line work, using hand tools, power tools, jigs and fixtures, and operate at different work stations as production demands shift.

Responsibilities

• Plan assembly procedures according to instructions and specifications.
• Perform repetitive bench or assembly line tasks to produce sub-assemblies and products.
• Assemble electronic components using static control devices when required.
• Assemble components using jigs, fixtures, hand tools and power tools.
• Position hardware using hand tools, riveters and power tools.
• Work at different workstations or cells as production demands require.
• Drill, tap, or ream holes.
• Align components and fasten parts with screws, rivets or clips using screwdrivers and pneumatic or manual tools.
• Clean, file, sand, or shape machined parts.
• Lift and secure workpieces manually or with hoists.

SUMMARY

The Assembler position is responsible for fabricating and/or assembling medical grade storage cabinets and related products to customer specification. This role also inspects finished parts for quality, maintains equipment and work areas, and follows production and safety standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plans assembly procedures and follows company and work cell assembly instructions and specifications.
• Performs repetitive bench or assembly line tasks to produce assemblies, sub-assemblies and products as customer order and business demand dictate; tasks may vary as different model(s) are required for production.
  • May assemble electronic components while wearing static control device(s)
  • May assemble components using jigs, fixtures, hand tools and power tools
  • May position hardware using hand tools, riveters and power tools
• Perform work at different workstations or within different work cells as business and production demand fluctuate or require; this may involve one or more of the following assembly activities.
  • Drills, taps, or reams holes
  • Aligns components, and bolts, screws, clips, rivets or otherwise fasten parts together using screwdrivers, rivet guns and other pneumatic or manual hand tools
  • Cleans, files, sands, or shapes machined parts
  • Lifts work-piece manually or using hoist and secures workpiece in fixture or loads automatic feeding device
