Job summary

The Will Group in Chicago is seeking an assembler to join our production team. You will read blueprints, assemble electrical and electronic systems, install wiring, and prepare products for shipment in a fast-paced setting.

We value accuracy, reliability, and teamwork. The role involves using hand and power tools, maintaining a clean workspace, and adhering to ISO 9001 standards.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of assembly or manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability to read blueprints or schematics preferred.
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, or soldering equipment a plus.
  • Experience building wooden crates preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Assemble electrical or electronic systems and support structures.
  • Install wiring, subassemblies, and components using hand and power tools.
  • Measure, cut, strip, and pin data cables to specification.
  • Inspect products for quality and functionality.
  • Build specialty wooden shipping crates to third-party specifications.
  • Pack and prepare finished products for shipment.
  • Rotate between workstations to support production flow.
  • Follow ISO 9001 quality standards and safety procedures.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve processes and efficiency.
