Job summary

The Will Group, Chicago, IL, is seeking a dependable Assembler to join our production team. You will assemble electrical and electronic systems, read blueprints, install wiring, and prepare products for shipment in a fast-paced environment.

We value attention to detail, quality workmanship, and teamwork. A high school diploma or GED and 2+ years of assembly experience are preferred, with comfort using hand and power tools and reading schematics.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of assembly or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints or schematics preferred.
• Intermediate math and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Assemble electrical or electronic systems and support structures.
• Install wiring, subassemblies, and components using hand and power tools.
• Measure, cut, strip, and pin data cables to specification.
• Inspect products for quality and functionality.
• Build specialty wooden shipping crates to third-party specifications.
• Pack and prepare finished products for shipment.
• Rotate between workstations to support production flow.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
• Follow ISO 9001 quality standards and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and efficiency.
