Job summary

Westerman, Inc. is seeking an assembler to perform the assembly of piping, valves, gauges, reliefs, burners, and related equipment on pressure vessels and skids at our Catoosa, Oklahoma facility. The role requires attention to quality and safety with a strong work ethic.

The successful candidate will have 6 months of heavy assembly/manufacturing experience, be able to read blueprints and tapes, and operate cranes and forklifts (certified). This is an on-site position with regular daytime hours.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 months heavy assembly/manufacturing/material handling experience.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to safely use Crane and Forklift (certified).
  • Intermediate math skills and ability to read a tape measure.
  • Must read assembly blueprints and bill of materials.
  • Basic knowledge of lean methods.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble piping, valves, gauges, reliefs, burners and other equipment on pressure vessels and skids.
  • Inspect parts for defects and ensure proper sealing of connections.
  • Prepare vessels for hydrostatic testing per requirements.
  • Load shipments and assist in operations as needed.
  • Follow all safety and environmental policies and procedures.

AssemblerWesterman, Inc., an employee-owned company, is a multiple site manufacturer of production and storage equipment within the oil, gas, and nuclear industries. Our equipment helps optimize well pad design, improve separation efficiency and lower overall equipment spend through high-performance surface separation and processing technology. Our equipment is setting new standards for performance and economics nationwide.SUMMARY The Assembler role is responsible for assembly of all piping, valves, gauges, reliefs, burners, and other associated equipment on pressure vessels and skids. A successful candidate is a self-motivated multi-tasker that utilizes a strong work ethic to ensure all quality levels are met.RESPONSIBILITIES: Regular and punctual attendance at work is an essential job function of each position and is necessary to your individual effectiveness and that of your work group.
