Job summary

Katalyst CRO in El Paso, TX is seeking an Assembler 1, General to join our manufacturing team. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least 4 months of manufacturing experience.

You will work on multiple shifts, follow GMP and SOPs, and handle materials with appropriate safety measures. Candidates should read and understand basic English, possess problem solving skills, and be able to operate manufacturing equipment.

Qualifications

• Operating skills with manufacturing equipment preferred.
• Problem solving skills are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Possess a basic understanding of production processes and equipment.
• Follow GMP and standard operating procedures.
• Transport materials safely using handling equipment.
• Maintain safety, housekeeping and PPE compliance.
• Overtime may be required.
• Complete operator training and assist on other projects as needed.
• Look for ways to improve products, services, systems and processes.

• Possess a basic understanding of production processes within area of assignment and a working knowledge of manufacturing equipment.
• Follow GMP, s and standard operating procedures.
• Transport materials of varying weight in accordance with established safety guidelines using material handling equipment and additional assistance as required.
• Demonstrates adherence to safety procedures by monitoring personal and peer behaviors, work environment and housekeeping.
• Available for overtime as needed
• Performs all duties with attention to quality, safety, and environmental matter such as wearing appropriate personal protective equipment, identifying, reporting, and appropriately responding to hazards in the work area (spills/accidents/near misses), always maintaining proper housekeeping, and properly labeling and storing chemicals.
• Assume responsibility for the environmental effects of work performed and for the identification and recording of environmental problems as they arise. Complete all regulatory training as assigned (GPM, s, ISO14001, OSHA, etc.).
• Complete Operator Training Program according to established guidelines.
• Be available for other projects or assignments as requested by management.
