Job summary

Katalyst CRO in Sunland Park, NM is seeking a manufacturing operator responsible for basic production processes, equipment operation, and adherence to GMP and safety SOPs. Shifts include 6:00 AM–2:00 PM, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM, 10:00 PM–6:00 AM, and 6:00 AM–6:00 PM Sat & Sun PT.

Requirements include a High School Diploma/GED, at least 4 months in manufacturing, basic English reading/writing, and familiarity with pallet jacks and general equipment.

Qualifications

• Willingness to operate material handling equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Understand basic production processes and equipment in area of assignment.
• Follow GMP, SOPs, and safety procedures.
• Transport materials using material handling equipment with required assistance.
• Maintain cleanliness and organizational housekeeping in work area.
• Be available for overtime as needed.
• Participate in training on environmental, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Complete Operator Training Program per guidelines.
• Support management with additional projects as requested.
• Look for ways to improve products, systems, and processes.

• Possess a basic understanding of production processes within area of assignment and a working knowledge of manufacturing equipment.
• Follow GMP, s and standard operating procedures.
• Transport materials of varying weight in accordance with established safety guidelines using material handling equipment and additional assistance as required.
• Demonstrates adherence to safety procedures by monitoring personal and peer behaviors, work environment and housekeeping.
• Available for overtime as needed
• Performs all duties with attention to quality, safety, and environmental matter such as wearing appropriate personal protective equipment, identifying, reporting, and appropriately responding to hazards in the work area (spills/accidents/near misses), always maintaining proper housekeeping, and properly labeling and storing chemicals.
• Assume responsibility for the environmental effects of work performed and for the identification and recording of environmental problems as they arise. Complete all regulatory training as assigned (GPM, s, ISO14001, OSHA, etc.).
• Complete Operator Training Program according to established guidelines.
• Be available for other projects or assignments as requested by management.
