Job summary

Katalyst CRO in El Paso, TX is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to support production processes, operate basic equipment, and follow GMP and SOPs. The role requires safety awareness, PPE use, and proper material handling. Overtime may be required, and flexibility for different shifts is expected.

Shift options include 1st 6:00 AM–2:00 PM, 2nd 2:00 PM–10:00 PM, 3rd 10:00 PM–6:00 AM, and extended 12‑hour shifts with weekend PT.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Minimum of 4 months of work experience in manufacturing.
  • Able to read, write, and understand basic English.
  • Operating skills of manufacturing equipment and hand/pallet jack preferred.
  • Problem solving skills are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Possess a basic understanding of production processes within area of assignment and a working knowledge of manufacturing equipment.
  • Follow GMP and standard operating procedures.
  • Transport materials safely using handling equipment.
  • Maintain safety, housekeeping, and report hazards.
  • Complete environmental and regulatory training as assigned.
  • Be available for overtime and other projects as needed.

Job description

  • Possess a basic understanding of production processes within area of assignment and a working knowledge of manufacturing equipment.
  • Follow GMP, s and standard operating procedures.
  • Transport materials of varying weight in accordance with established safety guidelines using material handling equipment and additional assistance as required.
  • Demonstrates adherence to safety procedures by monitoring personal and peer behaviors, work environment and housekeeping.
  • Available for overtime as needed
  • Performs all duties with attention to quality, safety, and environmental matter such as wearing appropriate personal protective equipment, identifying, reporting, and appropriately responding to hazards in the work area (spills/accidents/near misses), always maintaining proper housekeeping, and properly labeling and storing chemicals.
  • Assume responsibility for the environmental effects of work performed and for the identification and recording of environmental problems as they arise. Complete all regulatory training as assigned (GPM, s, ISO14001, OSHA, etc.).
  • Complete Operator Training Program according to established guidelines.
  • Be available for other projects or assignments as requested by management.
