What You'll Do

  • Build bus doors by following simple work instructions and drawings
  • Install parts such as windows, hinges, handles, seals, sensors, and hardware
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and air tools safely
  • Measure, cut, and install rubber seals, wiring, and other parts
  • Check your work to make sure it meets quality standards
  • Apply touch-up paint, glue, and caulking as needed
  • Keep your work area clean, safe, and organized
  • Help with other production tasks after training
What You Will Do

As a Assembler you will assemble products, components, or equipment using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and assembly instructions. You will inspect completed assemblies, verify measurements, identify quality concerns, maintain organized work areas, and support production goals while following established manufacturing procedures and workplace safety standards.

The Assembler plays an important role in manufacturing by assembling products that meet engineering specifications and customer expectations. This position requires technical ability, strong work habits, and careful attention to assembly quality.
