Job summary

Staffmark Group seeks an assembler in Buffalo Grove, IL to perform mechanical assembly tasks, read blueprints, and interpret assembly instructions. You will use hand, pneumatic, and electric tools, and measuring equipment to install and align components accurately.

Ideal candidates have basic measuring and reading capabilities, comfortable in a fast-paced manufacturing setting, and are safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and able to stand a full shift.

Now hiring for an Assembler

Location: Buffalo Grove, IL

Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour | Shift: 7 AM-3:30 PM | Schedule: Monday-Friday

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, mechanical assembly, production, or industrial assembler experience preferred.
• Experience using hand tools, pneumatic tools, electric power tools, and basic measuring equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, assembly instructions, and technical drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to install, align, and secure components accurately.
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to perform quality checks and meet production standards.
• Ability to measure, cut, install, and work with various materials, including rubber seals, wiring, adhesives, and hardware.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment while meeting safety and productivity goals.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive assembly tasks, and safely handle materials as required.
