Job summary

Wallenius Wilhelmsen's Keen division is seeking a Manufacturing-Heavy Equipment Assembler at our Brunswick, GA processing center. You will complete assembly of partially built heavy equipment using hand, electric, and air-powered tools, and you will read and interpret manuals and schematics to ensure proper fit.

Starting pay is $23.00 per hour, depending on experience. This role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, working at heights up to 15 feet, and outdoor work in varied weather.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate heavy equipment, forklifts, and overhead cranes.
• Ability to read and interpret machine manuals and schematics.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems for heavy equipment.
• Capacity to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights up to 15 feet.
• Workday includes walking/standing in various weather conditions.

Manufacturing-Heavy Equipment Assembler

Keen, a Wallenius Wilhelmsen company, is seeking Manufacturing-Heavy Equipment Assembler at our equipment processing center in Brunswick, GA.

Starting pay is $23.00 per hour, depending on experience.

What You'll Do

• Complete assembly of partially built heavy equipment using hand, electric, and air-powered tools
• Unpackage, install, and remove machine parts
• Drive and operate equipment including backing up, tilting or raising or lowering attachments or other machine movements to facilitate proper assembly
• Be able to work outside in all reasonable weather condition
• Read and interpret machine manuals and schematics for assembly purposes
• Adhere to OSHA standards and company safety regulations

What You'll Need

• Ability to operate various types of heavy equipment, forklifts, overhead cranes
• Ability to read and interpret machine manuals and schematics
• Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems for construction and agricultural equipment
• Sufficient hand dexterity and strength to operate a sledgehammer, power tools and withstand vibration of tools
• Ability to lift overhead 50 lbs and climb to/work at heights of up to 15 feet
• Ability to complete a full workday walking and/or standing in all reasonable weather conditions
• Current valid driver’s license
