Qualifications

  • Proficient in basic math: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division.
  • Experience reading and interpreting instructional drawings and schematics.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Proficient with measuring tools (tape measures, micrometers, calipers).

Responsibilities

  • Assemble machines and components per customer orders and build plan timelines.
  • Perform inspection, testing, and troubleshooting during assembly to ensure proper operation.
  • Coordinate with lead to requisition parts for assembly.
  • Maintain production records using timesheets and supervisor guidelines.

Job DetailsJob Location: Blackfoot , ID 83221JOB SUMMARY: The Assembler is responsible for accurately building machines and component parts in accordance with customer orders and build plan timelines. Using mechanical drawings, verbal instructions, and various measuring tools, the Assembler will perform inspections, testing, and troubleshooting during the assembly process to ensure each machine operates correctly and meets rigorous quality standards. The ideal candidate will become a technical expert in assembly, coordinating with lead personnel to requisition necessary parts, safely operating material handling equipment, and actively recommending process improvements. This role demands exceptional workmanship, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety, ensuring the highest quality product is delivered every time.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assemble machines and component parts per customer orders in accordance with the timelines identified in the build plan.
  • Perform inspection, test, and troubleshooting during assembly and make necessary adjustments to ensure correct operation of machine while maintaining quality standards.
  • Understand the definition of quality and know the measurements for determining quality products.
  • Become a technical expert for products assembled and be top performer in workmanship, safety, and work ethics.
  • Coordinate with Lead Person to identify and requisition parts needed for assembly.
  • Keep and maintain accurate production records using timesheets and other methods identified by Supervisor.
  • Safely operate material handling equipment such as forklift and overhead crane.
  • Recommend process improvements and participate in process improvement efforts.
  • Actively work with internal and external customers to identify and solve problems.
Qualifications REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with tools, machinery, and mechanical systems.

  • Proficient in all types of measuring tools as required (tape measures, micrometers, calipers, etc.).
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience reading and interpreting instructional drawings and schematics.
Machines Typically Operated
  • Power tools and hand tools such as air drill, rivet gun, impact wrench, drill press, grinder, etc.
  • Other machines and equipment specific to departmental or facility needs.
