Job summary

Manpower, Inc. is assisting a client in Beacher, IL to hire an Assembler for the Gun Parts/Body Tubes Assembly Department.

You will assemble components according to drawings, meet production goals, and prepare subassemblies for shipment. This role requires a high school diploma or GED, the ability to work independently, good communication skills, basic math and computer skills, and the physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Positive attitude and professional demeanor.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with basic math and computer skills.
• Physical ability to walk, stand, bend, squat, reach, lift up to 30 lbs regularly, and 40 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Assemble assigned components according to assembly drawings and job requirements.
• Meet production goals, ship schedule, and ensure subassemblies are ready on time.
• Complete and submit necessary production paperwork by end of shift.
• Monitor work visually to maintain quality standards and notify supervisor of nonconformance or operating difficulties.
• Participate in continuous improvement processes and disassemble scrap products for salvage.

As an Assembler, you will be part of the Industrial department supporting the Gun Parts/Body Tubes Assembly Department. Job Title: Assembler

Location: Beacher, IL

Pay Range: $18

Shift: 5:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Thursday
