Job summary

You will maintain records, operate preparation equipment, and complete tasks with minimal supervision while adhering to safety and environmental standards. Must be 18+, eligible to work in the U.S., and able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented; accuracy of sample prep is critical for downstream tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to think analytically and work with minimal supervision.
• Experience in assay lab is preferred.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and performing routine lab tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples for analyses including data entry, loading/unloading ovens, and crushing/pulverizing samples.
• Prepare Mine, Exploration, Mill, Met Lab, ADR, and Dedicated Plant samples.
• Maintain accurate records in logbooks and databases.
• Perform daily housekeeping and routine maintenance of prep equipment.
• Complete task training and written exams for the role.
