Job summary
City Scape Winery in Greenville, SC is looking for an Assistant Winemaker to grow with a fast-expanding team. You will support harvest operations, assist in blending, filtration, and bottling line prep, and help maintain the cellar and records.
The role emphasizes teamwork, learning, and craftsmanship under the head winemaker. You should have a BS in Enology or Fermentation Science (or related science) with at least three vintages of winemaking experience and proficiency with basic lab checks
Qualifications
- BS in Enology or Fermentation Science or related science degree with winemaking experience.
- Minimum of three vintages of winemaking experience.
- One year of full-time wine production experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist in harvest operations, barrel movements, racking, blending, filtration, and bottling prep.
- Maintain clean, organized cellar and proper record-keeping.
- Perform wine sampling, pH/SO2 checks, and prep for fermentation and bottling.
- Stock inventory and coordinate with head winemaker on supplies and SOPs.
