Job summary

The Wine Group is offering an internship across multiple California locations, including Benziger Family Winery, with hands-on exposure to winemaking, lab procedures, and production support. The role emphasizes shadowing, learning, and leadership development during the crush season and through daily cellar activities.

You will work closely with winemaking and compliance teams, participating in bench trials, tank walks, and daily tastings while expanding your knowledge of sustainability practices

Qualifications

• Enrolled in or a recent graduate of an undergraduate program in Viticulture and Enology.
• Must be a college student or recent graduate, junior level or above.
• Must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Must be able to commit to a minimum of six months of full-time work.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Shadow different roles to learn practices and leadership skills across the facility.
• Assist analytical lab tasks and identify wine specs for varietals.
• Participate in sanitation and crush preparation to support the season.
• Document production trials and assist with status reporting on major tasks.
