Job summary

Charles Schwab is seeking an Aspiring Talent Academy Manager to supervise, coach, and develop a team of 12-16 college students (Part-Time Apprentices and Summer Interns) within Client Service & Support. You will lead recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing development to create career paths at Schwab.

The role emphasizes coaching for business results, collaboration with Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition, and cross-team partners, with a strong focus on maintaining quality service

Qualifications

• Education Level Required: 4 Year College Degree or Equivalent Experience
• Licenses: Series 9/10, Series 7, and Series 63 (or 66) required.
• Strong understanding of the Better Way to Excellence processes
• Ability to coach for business results
• Solid knowledge of Call Center Management, processes & operations
• Proficiency with a PC to perform essential job functions
• Capable of troubleshooting basic PC problems and escalate when needed
• Must have current Schwab experience

Responsibilities

• Motivate and inspire team members, individually and as a group, to meet goals
• Provide 1-1 coaching and targeted performance feedback
• Manage performance by developing plans and training needs
• Partner with Learning & Development to train students
• Collaborate on campus recruiting efforts with Talent Acquisition and SCOUT
• Coordinate with Centralized Hiring on interviewing for diversity
• Assist with onboarding processes with STR, SSA, TA, and HR
• Monitor employee calls to assure quality and assess skills
• Serve as SME for internal processes and best practices
• Assist employees with licensing exam study and prep
• Coach employees during opportunities to help other partners
• Convert aspiring talent to full-time opportunities and maintain relationships
• Lead participants through Capstone projects and presentations
