Qualifications

• AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency required.
• Certification as a Surveyor in Training in the state of employment is required.
• MicroStation knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to analyze survey data and provide direction to field crews as needed.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills are essential.
• Ability to work well in teams or independently and manage time effectively.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
• Ability to handle basic issues and escalate complex ones.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of a Registered Land Surveyor, provide technical support for projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Complete detailed drawings from field data, sketches, and plans.
• Review work for completeness before submitting to R.P.L.S. for review.
• Prepare drawings and/or copy existing drawings and perform simple calculations.
• Conduct fieldwork upon request.
• Assist with deed research, base maps, and processing field crew data.
• Process field data into plats or Metes and Bounds descriptions.
