Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking an Assistant Stylist for a temporary role that prepares you for a full stylist position. You will engage with guests, assess hair care needs, and recommend products and services, under the guidance of an Elite or Master Stylist.

Initially you’ll support with guest services and learn salon techniques, with ongoing opportunities to service guests and perform a range of hair and makeup services. A Cosmetology license is required.

Qualifications

• Cosmetology license required.
• Ability to perform haircutting, color, styling and makeup.
• Willingness to learn and grow under mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Engage with guests, assess hair care needs, and recommend services.
• Perform hair services after month 3, including styling and color.
• Demonstrate products and participate in events.
