Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking an Assistant Stylist to engage guests, consult on hair care needs, and recommend products and services. This temporary role is designed to train for a stylist position, under the mentorship of Elite or Master Stylists for the first three months, then begin servicing guests of their own while focusing on guest service, productivity, and proficiency.

Qualifications

• Cosmetology license required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest service and contribute to store goals for retail and services.
• Support mentor stylist in meeting sales and productivity targets.
• After month three, perform hair services and related beauty treatments as assigned.
• Conduct product demonstrations to drive sales and guest experience.
• Assist with in-store events, promotions, and marketing initiatives.
• Stay informed on trends, products and services to better serve guests.
• Maintain regular attendance and salon cleanliness.
