Dollar General is seeking a Store Manager Candidate in Montana to support the Store Manager in daily operations, staff supervision, inventory control and merchandising. This role develops external candidates for the Store Manager track and is held for a limited period.

The position involves assisting with recruiting, maintaining store standards, handling cash controls, and participating in opening/closing duties while ensuring a safe, compliant store environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment preferred for external candidates.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as diagrams, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals.

Responsabilités

• Assist in recruiting and staffing activities.
• Assist with store merchandising by staging, stocking and pricing merchandise.
• Assist in inventory management including damages, markdowns, scans, paperwork and controls.
