Job summary

The role requires the ability to recruit, supervise staff, maintain store standards, and ensure financial and safety compliance, including opening/closing duties and accurate paperwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 1 year retail experience for external candidates.
• Ability to read diagrams and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting and staffing activities.
• Assist with store merchandising and stocking according to directives.
• Assist in inventory management including damages, markdowns, and paperwork.
• Follow ordering practices to meet in-stock targets.
• Provide superior customer service leadership.
• Model company procedures and policies.
• Participate in store opening and closing activities.
• Ensure safe deposit of company funds and financial integrity.
• Assist in maintaining clean, well-stocked stores and safe environment.
• Operate store in the manager’s absence.
• Review operating statements for trends and opportunities.
• Complete paperwork and documentation on time.
