Peet's Coffee is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Orinda, CA. This role supports the Store Manager and develop into a Store Manager within 12–18 months, with tuition scholarship opportunities through Oregon State University E Campus.

You will drive sales, coach the team, ensure smooth operations, and deliver exceptional customer experiences while upholding Peet's standards and community focus.

Qualifications

• 2 years management/supervisory experience in service/food industry.
• Open availability; 40 hours per week.
• Ability to work early mornings, evenings and weekends.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in achieving financial and operational goals.
• Lead the team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Support recruiting, hiring, and staffing coverage.
• Coach and develop team members through feedback.
• Oversee daily coffeebar operations, inventory, cash handling, and safety compliance.
