Job summary

South Elementary in Midland, Texas seeks an Administrative Intern to gain hands-on experience in school leadership. You will support the principal, participate in instructional planning, and engage in district initiatives under experienced mentors.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and progress toward mid-management certification, with prior teaching experience preferred. Immediate start; full-time schedule aligned with the district calendar, and opportunities to develop as a future campus

Qualifications

• Organizational and planning skills.

• Strong communication with staff and parents.
• Evidence of intent to complete principal or mid-management certification within one year.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers and campus leaders in analyzing what students are expected to learn, rehearsing lessons, and analyzing data.
• Participate in classroom walkthroughs to identify trends and inform PD.
• Provide coaching and feedback to teachers to promote growth.
• Provide instructional resources and materials to support teaching staff.
• Participate in professional development to improve job-related skills.
