Job summary

Target is seeking a Stores Executive Intern to gain hands-on leadership experience in a retail store. This paid internship runs 40 hours per week and provides mentoring from an Executive Team Leader to develop leadership and store management skills.

You will rotate through store areas to learn how retail operations drive guest satisfaction and business performance. You will participate in training activities, lead team members on daily tasks, and build a solid foundation for a future leadership

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Strong interest in retail management and leadership.
• Leadership skills and team-oriented mindset.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Spend time on the sales floor and backroom leading team members.
• Work with the ETL mentor and store leaders.
• Lead daily priorities and stock, ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for guests.
• Provide coaching and feedback to team members to improve performance.
• Address concerns and remove barriers to smooth operations and goals.
• Lead daily huddles and communicate priorities to the team.
• Help set daily goals and organize plans within the store.
• Review business reports and guest insights to identify opportunities.
