Job summary

The role focuses on identifying and placing the right talent, ensuring compliance with policies, and achieving restaurant objectives.

With support from the GM/DM, you will lead daily operations, train crew, manage performance, and uphold company standards, policies and safety practices across the shift.

Responsibilities

• Manage labor costs by evaluating labor needs against projected sales during the shift.
• Review monthly budget and P&L.
• Promote customer satisfaction to build sales.
• Monitor crew prep, production, and procedures to control costs.
• Track waste levels using established procedures.
• Communicate issues in sales and profit to GM/DM.
• Assist GM/DM in executing the restaurant sales and profits plan.
• Monitor food costs to minimize waste and theft.
• Monitor product quality by talking with customers during walk-throughs and off-line checks.
• Provide feedback on crew performance to maintain quality.
• Train crew to respond promptly to customer needs and to show courtesy.
• Set and communicate daily S.O.S. goals.
• Train crew to maintain restaurant cleanliness and follow cleaning plans.
• Cross-train crew for efficient shift coverage.
• Recognize high-performing crewmembers for promotion.
