Job summary

Doggett Concrete Construction seeks a Project Manager - Commercial Division to lead planning, coordination, and financial management of commercial concrete projects in the Southeast U.S. The Assistant Project Manager supports the PM and focuses on safety, schedule, and quality.

You will develop technical, financial, and leadership skills to advance into a Project Manager role while ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to company quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of construction experience preferred.
• Commercial concrete construction experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with PlanSwift, Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Excel, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Contract Review and Project Administration tasks.
• Support project planning, scheduling, and milestone tracking.
• Help manage procurement of materials and equipment.
• Assist with budgeting, cost tracking, and change orders.
• Review shop drawings, RFIs, submittals, and maintain documentation.
• Maintain professional communication with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
