Job summary

Environmental Air Systems is seeking a hands-on helper to assist pipefitters in layout, assembly, and installation of piping systems. You will transport materials, prepare work areas, and perform basic pipefitting tasks under supervision, while adhering to safety protocols and PPE guidelines.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, willingness to learn, and the ability to work in a team environment. OSHA 10 certification is required within the last five years.

Responsibilities

• Assist pipefitters with layout, assembly, and installation of piping systems according to specs and blueprints.
• Transport and organize materials, tools, and equipment to and from the job site.
• Prepare work areas by cleaning and organizing spaces and ensuring a safe environment.
• Perform basic pipefitting tasks under supervision, including cutting, threading, and assembling pipes.
• Follow safety protocols and wear PPE; participate in safety meetings.
• Clean, maintain, and store tools and equipment properly.
• Assist in maintaining records of work performed and materials used.
