Job summary

Environmental Air Systems, LLC is seeking a dedicated individual to assist pipefitters in the layout, assembly, and installation of piping systems. This role involves organizing materials, ensuring safety, and performing basic pipefitting tasks under supervision.

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with a willingness to learn and gain experience in pipefitting. Candidates should have a basic understanding of construction practices and must be team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assist pipefitters with the layout, assembly, and installation of piping systems according to specifications and blueprints.
• Transport and organize materials, tools, and equipment to and from the job site, ensuring they are readily available for use.
• Prepare work areas by cleaning and organizing spaces, removing debris, and ensuring a safe working environment.
• Perform basic pipefitting tasks under the supervision of experienced pipefitters, including cutting, threading, and assembling pipes.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and participating in safety meetings.
• Clean, maintain, and store tools and equipment properly to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Assist in maintaining accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any issues encountered during the project.

Education Requirements / Qualifications
