Avir at Post is seeking a dedicated Student Nurse Aide to support nursing staff and assist with patient care in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

As part of our team, you will document patient information, help with daily living activities, and participate in care planning while enrolled in a nursing program or recently graduated; a compassionate, communicative, and organized approach is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Currently enrolled in a nursing program or recent graduate (0-12 months of experience).
• Compassionate and empathetic towards patients and their families.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff with patient care activities, including vital sign monitoring, feeding, and bathing.
• Help patients with daily living tasks, such as dressing and grooming.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment by following infection control procedures and ensuring proper disposal of medical waste.
• Document patient information and progress in medical records.
• Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care plans and progress.
