Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care to residents (e.g., grooming, bathing, peri care, dressing) under supervision and within the scope of your training.
  • Change bed linens and maintain appropriate grooming supplies in resident rooms.
  • Assist with ambulation and transfers, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices.
  • Routinely reposition residents and monitor skin integrity.
  • Support nursing staff by completing non‑nursing tasks such as making beds, passing water/ice, answering call lights, and organizing supplies.
  • Assist with range of motion exercises and engage in reality orientation with residents.
  • Identify and report any condition that requires management attention.
Qualifications
  • Has written proof of completion of 16‑hour ADL training from an authorized school/instructor.
  • Possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Shows excellent self‑discipline, patience, and a passion for serving others.
  • Can follow safety policies and procedures.
  • Has basic computer literacy and can follow documentation protocols.
  • Respects and adheres to the Patient Bill of Rights and Employee Responsibilities.
