Newell Brands’ Yankee Candle division seeks a 2nd Assistant Store Manager for Greenwood, IN to support the Store Manager in delivering exceptional guest experiences and driving profitable top-line sales growth.

This part-time, onsite role requires strong leadership, effective communication, and the ability to coach and develop a high-performing team while maintaining store standards and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• High School completion or equivalent GED.
• Proven retail management experience (2 years preferred).
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient in retail software and Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Solution‑oriented.
• Must be able to work in a fragrance‑filled environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Assist in building a high-performing team aligned with Newell Brand Values and drive top-line sales growth.
• Contribute to onboarding and ongoing development of team members and manage HR-related situations via performance management.
• Motivate, inspire, and retain top talent; provide coaching and foster a positive work environment.
• Create a store environment focused on exceptional guest experiences, driving sales, and maintaining safety and cleanliness.
• Deliver emotionally engaging guest experiences by understanding customer needs and applying product knowledge.
• Maximize sales by implementing selling strategies, coaching to selling behaviors, and leveraging loyalty programs.
• Drive guest loyalty through the Rewards Loyalty program, KPIs, effective communication, and Grass Roots Marketing.
• Build lasting customer relationships to enhance loyalty and repeat visits.
• Maintain store appearance via plan-o-grams, visual standards, signage, and cleanliness.
• Support inventory management, control expenses, and enforce safety and loss prevention policies.
• Ensure clear team communication and alignment; achieve KPI goals through planning and execution.
